Craft Blend is our highest selling amendment and the one growers ask for by name. Sixteen premium inputs blended in house, in one bag, carrying 1,786 ratings at a 5.0 average. It is the easiest amendment on your shelf to explain and the best margin we make.

That is the whole pitch, and the ingredient panel on the back settles it without anyone having to argue. The rating page reads 1,786 ratings, a 5.0 average and 95 percent who would recommend it. Point a skeptical grower at it rather than arguing.
Sixteen amendments, brought in house and mixed on site.
Each of these is a product a shop could stock on its own. Sourcing all sixteen means sixteen suppliers, sixteen SKUs and sixteen slots on a shelf that mostly sit still. We do that part, and it arrives as one bag.
The most recent batch tested 2.99 nitrogen, 5.10 phosphate and 2.34 potash. We register the lower number on purpose, because a label should be the floor a customer can count on, not the best batch we ever ran. A grower who checks our numbers comes out ahead of what the bag promised.
We do not put the biology in the bag.
Most all purpose amendments blend mycorrhizae, Trichoderma and Bacillus species directly into a dry mix and print the counts on the label. We keep the microbes out and sell them separately as Rootwise, because a living organism sitting in a bag of moist amendments is in the wrong place to stay viable.
For the shop that means two things. You are not asking a customer to trust a number they cannot verify, and the biology becomes a second product on the same sale instead of a line on somebody else's label.
Three sizes, three different jobs.
3 lb
The face out, the trial size and the impulse buy. Best margin in the lineup by a wide gap, and buying it by the case of 12 is where that margin comes from.
10 lb
Where a grower lands once the 3 lb works. Stock it beside the hero so the step up is obvious without anyone selling it.
44 lb
Outdoor beds and larger gardens. Worth bringing in for spring or for a specific customer rather than holding year round.
The one instruction that makes them come back.
Craft Blend is simple to use and the results show up fast, but only if the customer puts it in the right place. This is the whole counter conversation after the sale.
- Feed the mulch layer, not the surface. In living soil the thing that changes results most is stocking the mulch layer with a full spread of amendments, so pull the mulch back, apply, and put it over the top again.
- Put castings or compost on with it. That keeps moist biological contact between the amendments and the soil, which is where the work actually happens.
- Tell them to watch for a few days, not a few weeks. Growers who do it this way notice the change quickly, and a grower who sees a result early is the one who comes back for the 10 lb.
Rates: a quarter cup per plant as a top dress, every two to four weeks. Four cups per cubic foot when building soil, a half cup to one cup per cubic foot when re-amending. Half a ton per acre at field scale.

What we get asked.
Should I stock the 3 lb or the 10 lb first?
The 3 lb, by the case. It is the lower price point, the easier trial, and the better margin. Growers move up to the 10 lb on their own once it works, so carrying both lets the shelf do the upsell.
Do I need to carry the biology too?
You do not have to, but it is the natural second item on the same sale, and it is the piece a competitor's all purpose box bundles into the bag. Carrying both means you can explain why ours are separate.
Can I discount below MSRP?
Yes. Our MAP policy holds advertised pricing level across dealers, and in store you set your own shelf price. The margins above assume you hold suggested retail.
How does it compare to what I carry now?
Pull the derived from panel off whatever all purpose amendment is on your shelf and set it beside ours. We would rather you run that yourself than take our word for it.
How does it ship?
Cases ship parcel on their own, or ride free on a freight order once your cart passes 1,800 lbs. A full soil pallet clears that line by itself, so anything you stack on top ships at no additional freight cost.
