Freight Policy

Important Update: Order Process 2024

We're refining our order and freight process to enhance accuracy and transparency:

Notice: Small orders will still checkout using paid parcel options. All freight orders follow as below.

  1. Build your order and proceed to checkout
  2. You will see a freight estimate in your cart.
  3. Parcel Orders: Select your preferred shipping option.
  4. Freight Orders: Checkout using "Invoiced After" Freight Option.
  5. Please Check the Keep Card On File Checkbox during checkout.

*Notice: You will be able to change and manage your card on file.
  1. We'll palletize, weigh your order, and provide an accurate freight invoice.
  2. We will charge your card on file for the freight upon fulfillment.

This streamlined process ensures you get the best possible freight rates without any guesswork.

Freight Quoting and Expedited Freight Invoicing:

Previously we would estimate the final freight and pallet count and this could lead to overestimated freight costs. Going forward we will invoice your order precisely for the absolute best rate.

How to get a freight estimate before I checkout?

Freight estimates are live in your cart. If your order is likely to be larger than 6 pallets please share your cart with Martin@BuildAsoil.com so we can provide the most accurate quote.

Step 1. Create Cart and use the “Share your cart” buttons to email to Martin@BuildASoil.com

Step 2. Martin uses our inventory software to estimate the weight and how many pallets.

Step 3. You receive the estimate

If you are happy with the freight estimate you can checkout and pay for your order selecting the "Invoice After" Freight option. We will then build your order and weigh it and get a final Freight invoice that we will send to you and automatically charge to your card on file. Note that you will be able to manage your card on file from your wholesale backend.

You can also arrange your own freight carrier if you have a good deal. Reach out to Martin@BuildASoil.com should you want to arrange this.
