Minimum Advertised Price Policy
Purpose
To maintain consistent product value, fair competition, and brand integrity across all sales channels, BuildASoil enforces a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) policy for all wholesale partners selling online.
1. Online Pricing Requirement
All products sold online must be advertised at no lower than the pricing displayed on BuildASoil.com.
MAP applies to all forms of public advertising, including but not limited to:
- Websites and online stores
- Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Digital promotions and advertisements
- Email marketing campaigns
- Marketplace listings
All advertised pricing must match BuildASoil.com.
BuildASoil reserves the right to adjust pricing as market conditions change. Retailers are responsible for updating all advertised pricing promptly.
2. In-Store Pricing Flexibility
We encourage retailers to offer in-store discounts as they see fit, especially on heavier items such as cubic foot soil bags where local pickup offers convenience and savings.
While in-store prices may vary, online prices must remain consistent with BuildASoil.com to ensure fair competition and uphold product value.
3. Monitoring & Compliance
BuildASoil will regularly review online listings to ensure compliance with this MAP policy.
- Retailers found advertising prices below MAP will be contacted and required to adjust their listings.
- Continued non-compliance may result in temporary suspension or termination of wholesale privileges.
4. Reporting MAP Violations
If you discover another retailer advertising BuildASoil products below MAP, please report it to our wholesale team. Include the following details:
- The retailer’s name or store link
- A direct URL to the product listing
This helps us protect your margins and maintain value for all BuildASoil retailers.
5. Acknowledgment
By participating in the BuildASoil Wholesale Program, retailers agree to comply with this MAP Policy.
We deeply appreciate your partnership and commitment to upholding the BuildASoil standard of quality, transparency, and value.
